I am so glad i found Perimom! This is my first baby so i had a little fear around doing the massage incorrectly! Not only do i know I’m getting what i need out of using perimom it is SO much more comfortable then using your hands-i couldn’t even get around my bump to do it with my hands anyway and I’m sure most of you would encounter the same issue and this way we don’t have to be on our partners back about doing it for us! The almond oil is also very gentle I am very sensitive and hesitant to use anything other than what i know wont irritate me but it has caused no irritation whatsoever! Highly recommend
I used this tool every day for the last few months of my pregnancy. I believe it helped me not tear during labor! Very useful and would recommend buying.
I was really worried about tearing, so I bought this. I ended up with a level 2 tear. I used this product 5 times a week for the 3-4 weeks before labor. I am fairly certain that this helped prevent a level 3-4 tear. So, I'm glad I did it and I would recommend this product to others. But, I think the wand is really overpriced for a lump of plastic.
I bought this because I had difficulty doing the perineal massages with fingers. Good quality. Highly recommended.

With my husband and I doing long distance and my bump preventing accessibility, the wand has been great.
I don't get the same pressure as if my husband manually does it but I'm sure it's still better than nothing! Thr evidence will be the birth whenever that happens!
I have really enjoyed the perimom massager. As a physical therapist, I love the ergonomic handle and that it makes it easier to reach! I feel more prepared for birth with this tool.

Hard to review this as I may not have experienced tearing anyway so can’t honestly say it’s due to this product - but I did find it easy to use and didn’t tear so make of that what you will!
This tool is handy and working well so far, we’ll see how much I tear during labor…

I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant and have just started using the Perimom. I am so grateful for this product! I tried perineal massage myself and just didn’t feel comfortable and I also knew that I would struggle to relax if my partner did it..the Perimom is such a great solution that means I can comfortably do the massage, focus on relaxing, and get all the benefits. The design is very simple to use and the product is easy to clean after. The material is very smooth and well designed to make the process as easy as it can be!
I’ve been using this for a week now and it has allowed me to reach down to complete the massage. A little expensive but does the job.

The perimom is great for reaching the hard to reach bits so you can get around the bump and still perform effective perineal massage. Would recommend!

I love Perimom! It’s very easy to use and helped me a lot. I haven’t given birth yet so can’t comment on whether it actually helped reduce the risk of tearing, but it’s helped me mentally - in terms of acknowledging that I am able to prepare myself for birth, no matter how much I tell myself I can’t! Only started using a few days ago and must say I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and easy to use the perimom. I already feel so much more confident about my birth and less stressed after use.
I bought this after I tried perineal massage with my hands and just couldn’t hold the pressure. Did it for only 3 weeks, about every other day with perineal lavender oil. I pushed for 40minutes and no tearing, everyone was really impressed :).
Since trying to reach was almost impossible for me, the massage hurt (probabily because of a wrong position). So I decided to buy Perimom and that was the best decision ever! Very easy an intuitive to use and the massage does not hurt one bit, it just feels right.
